The 2CV was in production for decades, literally. It was a utilitarian machine designed to appeal to rural farmers in France, encouraging them to progress beyond the horse and cart. With a 600cc engine, high ground clearance and high roof line it sold in the millions. Special editions such as the Spot, Dolly and Charleston kept it's following fresh. It even featured in a James Bond car chase in bright yellow.
