The second generation Range rover was unveiled in 1995, some 25 years after the first generation was born! competition had become much better since the first Range Rover and the P38 was built to increase the gap between Range Rover and the rest. It had a diesel unit and the V8 unit from before albeit with better engine managemement for smoothness and power. The interior was more luxurious than before and more fitting of what was expected in this type of vehicle.
