The humble Chrysler Sunbeam became a Talbot when the company changed hands. Chrysler had already started to develop a world beating rally car with the help of Lotus and Talbot continued the idea. The Lotus Sunbeam was born with 2.2 litre engine and redesigned suspension. The car nowadays has a well deserved cult following.
